It appears that the California taxpayers are going to have to help support the new mother of octuplets. This mother is completely irresponsible, and should not receive state support. She is a single unemployed woman, who is living with her mother and 6 children, who could not pay her house payments. Yet she could afford Invitro fertilization?
This doesn’t make sense–let me break it down. This woman is on food stamps, has declared bankruptcy and lost her house and is now paying for Invitro fertilization!?!?! This is the definition of an irresponsible mother! Instead of trying to support her already six children (which were all fertilized by Invitro), she is paying for more Invitro, which Suleman guessed she had spent $100,000 on!!! And now she she has 14 children!!
In regards to my previous comment on being a single mother. This is not irresponsible just because of her marital status. If it was a married couple in her position, they would be equally irresponsible. The only reason I brought it up is that being a mother of 14 children is a full time job, so how is she going to be able to work a full time job to support her children??
She is being extremely irresponsible and I believe that the children should be remanded into state custody. This is shown in her inability to support her children because of her choice to get more Invitro!! I just don’t understand what she was THINKING (if she was at all). How can this woman expect to be able to sit back and have the state provide for all her needs. Gosh, that sounds nice–not having to work and have everything provided for you–why can’t I have it? I do not think that the state of California should support this woman in any way, it would be irresponsible on their part based on her past actions (who knows–she might go and have more children).

She has no job and has 14 children!!!!! Is she an idiot?!? Not only will she be receiving welfare payments for all of her children, taxpayers are going to foot the hospital bills for the 8 premature babies:
This is absurd. The children should be remanded into custody and put in the charge of someone who can support these children. And then this woman’s wages should be garnished to help pay the cost that she put on the shoulders of taxpayers. Her plans?–She says she’s going to finish her master’s degree in counseling and support her children through student loans (she already has $50,000 in student loans). I think she is the one in dire need of some counseling, maybe they can beat some sense into her!
Why is everyone giving Israel crap for defending itself? Please–this is ridiculous. If any other sovereign country is doing what Israel is doing, no one would criticize them for defending their country. Only after extensively pursuing other options is Israel invading Gaza. And good for them, they have a right to protect themselves and takeout the people who have been firing rockets into Israel, while hiding among innocent civilians–cowards. Yes, innocent are getting hurt, but that is not Israel’s fault, it is Hamas’ fault for hiding among these people while attacking a sovereign country. People shouldn’t be criticizing Israel, they should be berating Hamas. And as for the innocent people of Gaza, they should be pointing their fingers at Hamas, because it’s their fault!! I just get so frustrated when people are so critical of Israel, when all she is trying to do is survive.
