I got this email and thought it was pretty accurate (and funny) and wanted to share it with everyone!

Stimulus package explained

”Sometime this year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format:

“Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?

“A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

“Q. Where will the government get this money?

    “A. From taxpayers.

“Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?

“A. No, they are borrowing it from China.  Your children are expected to repay the Chinese.

“Q. What is the purpose of this payment?

“A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.

“Q. But isn’t that stimulating the economy of China?

    “A.  Shut up.”

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:

If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.

If you spend it on gasoline it will go to Hugo Chavez, the Arabs and Al Queda

If you purchase a computer it will go to Taiwan.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras,  Chile, and Guatemala.

If you buy a car it will go to Japan and Korea.

If you purchase prescription drugs it will go to India

If you purchase heroin it will go to the Taliban in Afghanistan

If you give it to a charitable cause, it will go to Nigeria.

And none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America. You can keep the money in America by spending it at yard sales, going to a baseball game, or spend it on prostitutes, beer (domestic ONLY), or  tattoos, since those are the only businesses still in the US.

Why is everyone giving Israel crap for defending itself? Please–this is ridiculous. If any other sovereign country is doing what Israel is doing, no one would criticize them for defending their country. Only after extensively pursuing other options is Israel invading Gaza. And good for them, they have a right to protect themselves and takeout the people who have been firing rockets into Israel, while hiding among innocent civilians–cowards. Yes, innocent are getting hurt, but that is not Israel’s fault, it is Hamas’ fault for hiding among these people while attacking a sovereign country. People shouldn’t be criticizing Israel, they should be berating Hamas. And as for the innocent people of Gaza, they should be pointing their fingers at Hamas, because it’s their fault!! I just get so frustrated when people are so critical of Israel, when all she is trying to do is survive.

In a recent article I read, Biden seems unable to answer any kind of difficult or critical question, and when they are posed to him he responds by cancelling all other interviews with the questioner:

Barack Obama’s campaign killed all interviews with a Florida TV station after Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, faced tough and critical questions from a reporter at the Orlando station, the Orlando Sentinel reported .

During a satellite video Thursday, WFTV’s Barbara West quoted Karl Marx and asked Biden how Obama’s comment to “Joe the Plumber,” about spreading the wealth wasn’t being Marxist.

“Are you joking?,” Biden asked

Later in the interview West questioned Biden about his comments that if Obama wins the election next month, he would be tested early on as president and wanted to know if Biden was implying America was no longer the world’s leading power.

“I don’t know who’s writing your questions,” Biden asked her.

The Obama camp then killed a WFTV interview with Biden’s wife Jill, according to an Orlando Sentinel blog.

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign, according to the Sentinel.

I guess this is the kind of response we can expect from our exucutive branch if Obama/Biden are elected–run away from difficult questions and hide from the people asking the “difficult” questions

Biden rallyJoe Biden, Obama’s running mate, doesn’t seem to think that his running mate will be up for job if our country faces a crisis.  He was heard saying at a rally in Seattle this last weekend:

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking,”

“Remember I said it standing here. if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough — I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen,”

I can’t tell if Biden is trying to make people doubt their decisions to vote for Obama, because I know I wouldn’t want a president that will bring around a crisis in the midst of two wars that we are already fighting.  The McCain campaign was quoted saying:

“Just last night, Senator Biden guaranteed that if Senator Obama is elected, we will have an international crisis to test America’s new president,” “We don’t want a president who invites testing from the world at a time when our economy is in crisis and Americans are already fighting in two wars. …

“Senator Obama wont have the right response, and we know that because we’ve seen the wrong response from him over and over during this campaign. … We cannot spend the next four years as we have spent much of the last eight: hoping for our luck to change at home and abroad. We have to act. We need a new direction, and we have to fight for it,”

Even though Obama’s campaign says those remarks were to show that Obama is ready for the job, I think I still sense a feeling of doubt held by Joe Biden.  How can we elect someone president when his own running mate isn’t even completely sure about him?
